Zipline Secures $200 Million Funding to Accelerate Drone Delivery Expansion

Zipline delivery drone

Zipline, the California‑based drone logistics startup, has closed an additional $200 million round, bringing its Series H funding to a total of $800 million. The fresh capital, led by existing investors and new strategic backers, is earmarked for scaling its autonomous drone delivery network across the United States and expanding into new international markets.

The round values Zipline at an estimated $5 billion, underscoring the rapid commercial interest in aerial delivery solutions for medical supplies, e‑commerce, and emergency logistics. With the new funds, Zipline plans to double the number of operating drones, launch service hubs in several mid‑size U.S. cities, and accelerate the rollout of its next‑generation fixed‑wing platform that promises longer range and higher payload capacity.

“This investment validates the transformative potential of drone delivery for both life‑saving medical shipments and everyday consumer goods,” said Keller Rinaudo, Zipline’s CEO. “We will use this capital to bring our technology to more communities, reduce delivery times, and lower logistics costs.”
