Rivian Secures Additional $1 Billion Investment from Volkswagen in Expanded EV Partnership

The new funding package includes a $750 million equity infusion and an additional $250 million that can be delivered as equity or convertible debt, while also granting Rivian borrowing rights of up to $1 billion. The partnership, first revealed in 2023, aims to accelerate the rollout of electric vehicles across both brands.
