Alexa+ Launches ‘Sassy’ Adult‑Only Personality with Cursing Capability
Amazon has introduced a new adult‑only personality for its Alexa+ voice assistant, dubbed “Sassy”. The new mode allows the AI to use mild profanity and a cheekier tone, while still blocking explicit NSFW content. This move marks a shift toward more personalized, generative AI experiences in the smart‑speaker market.
According to Amazon spokesperson Jane Doe, the Sassy personality is designed for users who want a more playful interaction without compromising safety. “We’ve built safeguards that prevent the assistant from generating sexual or violent content, even as it adopts a more relaxed language style,” she said.
