MoonRF has unveiled a new line of open‑source, software‑defined phased‑array kits aimed at amateur Earth‑Moon‑Earth (EME) radio enthusiasts. The modular portfolio ranges from a $50 SDR tile to a $5,000 high‑gain Moon array, providing hobbyists and researchers with scalable options for long‑distance lunar communication.

The kits are scheduled to ship in July 2026 and include the QuadRF SDR tile, a Mini 52 cm array, and the flagship Moon 100 cm array. All hardware is fully documented, with firmware and design files released under an open‑source license, allowing users to customize and extend the system.
