Google Rolls Out Search Live Worldwide – Visual Conversational Search Now Global
Google has taken its AI‑driven Search Live visual conversational tool to the next level, launching it globally across more than 200 countries and territories. The feature lets users point their phone camera at anything – from a product on a shelf to a landmark – and instantly receive contextual answers, translations, and related information in real time.
The expansion builds on the service’s earlier rollout in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and South Korea. Now, users everywhere can benefit from multilingual support that covers over 30 languages, with automatic language detection and on‑the‑fly translation powered by Google’s Live Translate engine.
In addition to the broader geographic reach, Google is extending Live Translate to iOS devices and adding new language pairs, making it easier for travelers and multilingual shoppers to bridge language gaps instantly.
For marketers and SEO specialists, the global launch of Search Live signals a shift toward visual and conversational search experiences. Optimizing product images, implementing structured data, and ensuring mobile‑first performance will become increasingly important as users rely more on camera‑based queries.
