Abstract
Vision‑language‑action (VLA) models aim to map multimodal inputs to robot actions. Existing approaches often treat all visual tokens uniformly and rely on human‑selected factors, which limits performance in complex, dynamic scenarios. The newly proposed LEEVLA architecture introduces explicit mechanisms to highlight task‑critical evidence and preserve structured latent world representations.

Key Contributions

  • Drift‑Guided Dynamic Prioritization (DGDP): Combines Dynamic Position Prioritization (DPP) with Semantic Drift Guidance (SDG) to dynamically focus the model on salient, instruction‑relevant regions during training.
  • Structured Feature Flow Generation (SFFG): Models the evolution of prioritized features in latent space via Prototype‑to‑Periphery (P2P) prediction, ensuring coherent latent dynamics.
  • Mutual‑Neighborhood Contrastive (MC) Loss: Maintains topological consistency among latent neighborhoods, reinforcing structured reasoning.

Extensive experiments on standard VLA benchmarks demonstrate that LEEVLA consistently outperforms prior methods, confirming the importance of task‑aware evidence guidance and structured latent reasoning for scalable VLA systems.
